丹後のベスト・シングル・トラック？(後編)

小町公園・金剛童子山(後編) Komachi Park / Mt. Kongodoji(Part 2)

前編はこちらです。　さあ！どんなシングル・トラックがあるでしょうか。丹後ではなかなかいいシングル・トラックが見つけられませんが、今のところで、これは、間違えない、「丹後一」です。
Part 1 is here.  Right！ What is this single track like? Up to now, I haven't been able to find a good single track in Tango, but this one is definitely number one at this stage.

ここでゆっくりしたいですが、これは探検のライドです。まだ先に何があるか全然分かれません。 I'd like to take my time here, but this is an exploratory ride. I have no idea of what lays ahead.

細川ガラシャ夫人隠棲地 The place where Garacia Hosokawa was secluded

去年来た時にこの井戸の写真を撮りませんでした。 I didn't take a photo of this well when I was here last year

↑去年のブログエントリーにこの場所について詳しく紹介しました。それはこちらです。 I introduced this place in detail in a blog entry last year. You can find that here.

小町公園まで7.8㎞です。ここから初めて通ります。 It's 7.8km to Komachi Park. This is the first time I have traveled along this route.

車両が通り抜けはできません Vehicles can not pass all the way through

その峠を渡ります I'm going over that mountain pass

振り返る図 Looking back

最初の1.8kmがこのようないい道です The first 1.8km is a nice road like this

後6㎞と書いてありますが、道が全然見ませんでした It says 6km to go, but I did see the road at all

Kinki Area Nature Walk (Midono to Uchiyama)

私は右の道を上ったが行き止りでした。おかしいな～と思って、ここに戻ってきました。そして左の道を見ました。まあ、道をはっきり見ているより、道がありそうという感じでした。 I went up the path to the right, but it was a dead-end. I wondered what the heck was going on here. Upon returning to this sign I saw the road to the left. Actually, it was more like 'there might be a path there' than actually seeing a well defined path.

100メートルを走るとこの標識がありました。ほっとした！ After traveling for 100 meters, I saw this sign. I was relieved.

数か所にありました They were in a few places

峠まで道に生えっている熊笹があっちこっちにありましたが、そんなに大きな問題ではありませんでした。

There was kumasasa (Veitch's bamboo) here and there on the track, but it wasn't such a big problem.

峠のてっぺんです。ここから私の車まで4.8㎞のダウンヒルです。 The top of the pass. It is 4.8km downhill from here to my car.

ここから高尾山に登れます。いつか登ってみたいですね。ここからすぐだと思います。 You can climb Mt. Takao from here. I'd like to climb it some time. I think it isn't far from here.

山の展望もあります There is also a view of the mountains

びっくりしました。二人の男に出会いました。一人は覚えていました。去年の4月に綾部市「水源の里」→養老山に参加したときに、駐車場で同じ仕事をしている男に出会いました。その二人は「車が使える道路まで後何キロですか」と私に聞きました。そして、登山道口の近くに道を綺麗にしている作業者に出会いました。もしかして、この道をずっと向こうまで綺麗にしているでしょう。そうなら、嬉しいです。
That was a surprise. I met 2 guys in the mountains. I remembered one of them. I saw him at the car park when taking part in the Ayabe [Suigen-no-Sato]→Mt. Yoro ride last April. They asked me how far it was to the road that cars can use. Then near the track entrance I saw guys cleaning up the track. Maybe they are going to go all the way over to the other side. If so, that would be great.

左の道から出てきました I came out of the road on the left

味土野からここまで655号線を走りました I rode along route 655 from Midono to here

あと3.6㎞ダウンヒルを楽しめます I can enjoy a 3.6km downhill from here

右の道を上ったら、ブナハウス内山まで行けます。私はまだ行ったことがありません。 If you go up the road to the right, you can go to the Uchiyama beech tree house. I still haven't been there.

アプリをスタートするのを忘れましたが、始点が終点と一緒でした。 距離がおよそ23㎞でした。 I forgot to start my app, but the start was the the same as the finish. It was about 23km.

このコースが素晴らしいです。いいシングルトラックもあり、史跡もあり、絶景もあり、大自然もあり、棚田もあります。満足です！ This course is great. It has a good single track, historical spots, spectacular views, wilderness & terraced rice fields. I'm satisfied！
