今日は「春だ！トレイルだ！リス山ライド参加者大募集！」に参加したかったですが、水曜日から膝が痛かったです。皆に迷惑をかけたくないので、一人で山に向かいました。今回久しぶりに金剛童子山に行きました。この山が大好きです。
Today, I wanted to take part in a MTB event at Squirrel Mountain (see link above), but my knee has been quite tender since Wednesday. I don't want to hold up the other guys, so I headed to the mountains by myself. This time I went to Mt. Kongodoji. I really like this mountain.

 しまった！グローブを一つずつ持ってきました。両方が左手のグローブです。今日はマイケル・ジャクソンの物まねライドです。 Oh no! I didn't bring a set of gloves and they are both left handed gloves.  クリアナアキゾウムシかな！ A type of weevil. |  ハンミョウもいくつか見ました。まだ綺麗になっていません。 I also saw some Japanese tiger beetles. They still haven't got their brilliant colors. |
 あちらこちらにシャガがたくさん咲いています A lot of fringed irises are blooming in many places along the road. |  シャガ Fringed iris |
今日は暑い！めちゃ暑い！しかし、雪が降っています。ほら！動画を見て。 It's hot! It's really hot! But, it's snowing. Look! Check out the video.

 花の写真を撮っているとき、足の近くに音を聞いた。素早く見て、あの柄をよく知っています。頭を見なくてもいいです。マムシ！！！ When taking photos of the flowers, I heard a noise near my feet. I quickly looked in that direction. I know that pattern well.  金剛童子山山頂 The top of Mt. Gongodoji |  人がこの植物を踏まないようにひもが引いてありました。なんという植物でしょうか。もうそろそろ咲きそうです。 These plants were roped off so people won't stand on them. I wonder what they are. They look like they will bloom soon. |

 実際は、これを見に来ました。 Actually, I came here today to see these. |  葉がかなり大きいです。 The leaves are really big. |

 勿論、下りが楽しい！ Of course, the downhill is fun. |  楽しそうですが、危ない！ Looks like fun, but a little dangerous. |

車に戻る前、ここで休憩をしました。高原線で帰るつもりでしたが、今回暑くて、体力が足りませんでした。上った道路で帰りました。 I took a rest here before heading back to my car. I was going to go back down the Takahara Track, but this time it was hot and I didn't have enough stamina left. So I went back down the same road that I had come up.

金剛童子山のすばらしさを楽しみました。
やっと、吉津の穴地蔵を見に行きました。
水芭蕉（ミズバショウ）の花を初めて見ました。
膝の痛みもなくなりました。
最高のライドでした。

At last, I went to see the Ana-Jizo of Yoshizu.
I saw Asian skunk cabbage flowers for the first time.
My knee's tenderness completely disappeared.
It was a most enjoyable ride.
