「A」トレイル　'A' Trail

GWにオーストラリアに行って、美味しいものをたくさん食べて、太ってしまいました。やせるためにどんどん山へ行かなくちゃ！しかし、今日は美味しいものを食べるために山へ行きました...(笑)
I went to Australia during Golden Week, ate lots of delicious food and put on weight. Now I've got to hit the mountains regularly to get back in shape. However, today I'm going into the mountains to eat something delicious. (lol)

山に入ったところで、なんかいつもと違うにおいがしていました。原因がわかりませんが、あの花だらけ木かも知れません。 I enter the mountains and notice it smells different to usual. I'm not sure what the cause is, but it could be that flower covered tree.

桐（キリ）です It's a paulownia.

A paulownia flower pattern is the symbol of the Office of the Prime Minister of Japan. And even more interesting than that, It was once customary to plant a Paulownia tree when a baby girl was born, and then to make it into a dresser as a wedding present when she married.
五七の桐は日本国政府の紋章です。それよりもっと面白いのは、かつて日本では女の子が生まれるとキリを植え、結婚する際にはそのキリで箪笥を作り嫁入り道具にするという風習もあった。

谷空木(タニウツギ)の花 Weigela flowers

この谷空木の花がピンクです。 This one's flowers are rose pink.

クロマルハナバチを観察しました。ビデオを撮りました。 I observed this bumblebee & took a video.

前景にタニウツギがありますが、あの背景にある藤がすごいです。 There is a weigela tree in the foreground, but that wisteria in the background is pretty impressive.

道は竹の落ち葉で覆われています。 The road is covered with fallen bamboo leaves.

今日の謎です。路面に花びらがたくさんありましたが、周りの木に花が全然ありませんでした。いったいどこから来たのでしょうか。 Today's puzzle. There were lots of these petals on the path, but there were no trees with flowers around where they were. Where on earth did they come from!?

藤の花びらでしょうか。 I think they might be wisteria petals.

木の高い所から風に吹き飛ばされたでしょう。 They were probably blown from high up in the tree tops by the wind.

絶景ポイントで懐かしいものを食べました。ティーンエイジャー（１０代）の時にサンドイッチ・ピクルスとチーズのサンドイッチをよく食べました。おいしい！！！ At the lookout I enjoyed something from yesteryear. When I was a teenager, I often had 'sandwich pickles and cheese' sandwiches. Yum!!!
