丹後縦貫林道63km絶景ライド

丹後縦貫林道（男山から養老へ）
Tango Jukan Rindo (From Otokoyama to Yoro)

今日は素晴らしい天気でした。真冬の前にまた（私にとって）距離が長いライドをしたかったです。今回、丹後縦貫林道を走りました。いつものように男山から入りましたが、一つの決心がありました。それは、左を曲がって大内線を走るか右を曲がって成相線を走ることでした。大内線にラリーが行われていたので、成相線を走ることにしました。
The weather was fantastic today, so I wanted to go for another long ride (for me) before winter settled in. This time I decided to ride the Tango Jukan Rindo road. As always I entered from Otokoyama, but I had one decision to make. That was to turn left and ride the Ouchi section or to turn right and ride the Nariai section. There was a rally being held on the Ouchi section so I decided to go up the Nariai section.

まず、天橋立を渡りました。 Firstly, I crossed over Amanohashidate.

オッ！阿蘇海に白鳥がいます。いつも冬にいます。おかえり！

Oh! There's some swans in Asokai Lagoon. They stay here for winter.

見事！紅葉がまだちょっと残っています。強い風がなかったので、今年の紅葉を長く楽しめます。Beautiful! There are still some autumn leaves to be seen. There hasn't been any strong winds this year, so we have been able to enjoy the autumn leaves longer.

丹後縦貫林道の成相線 Tango Jukan Rindo, Nariai section

漆の葉だと思います。I think it's a Japanese sumac [lacquer] tree

真ん中の山に大内峠があります。 Ouchi Pass is in on the mountain in the middle.

今日はラリーが行われています。通った時、ドライバーを見たし、上りながら、ずっとラリーカーが聞こえました。Today they are holding a rally there. I saw the drivers as I rode passed and I could hear them the whole time I was riding up here.

ここからあそこ（上世屋高原）に行きます。 I'm heading for there (Kami-Seya Highlands) from here.

丹後縦貫林道成相線 Tango Jukan Rindo, Nariai section

成相山と上世屋高原の間を車で走れば、気をつけてください。幾つかの危険な場所があります。 Please be careful if you travel between Mt. Nariai and Kami-Seya Highlands by car. There are a few dangerous spots.

この枯葉の季節もいいですね。 This dry crunchy leaf season is also nice.

養老までこの長くて、細い山道で下ります。ずっと誰も使っていない感じです。 I go down this long narrow mountain road to Yoro. It seems as if no one has used it for a long time.

途中の絶景。日本海が見えます。 A view on the way down. You can see The Sea of Japan.

養老からの帰りは海岸沿い。このコースが素晴らしいです。 I ride along the coast on the way back from Yoro. This course is fantastic.

天橋立で休憩をして、スニッカーズのチョコレートバーを食べました。さあ！あとすこし！ I take a break on Amanohashidate and have a snickers chocolate bar. Right! Not far to go now.
