今週の土曜日もいい天気なので、またスノー・ライドができるでしょう。今週が温かったから雪が大分解けたと思います。山に向かいます。 It's sunny this Saturday too, so I wonder if I can get in another snow ride. This last week was warmish, so I guess the snow has melted quite a bit. I head for the mountains.

先週この辺まできました。雪が深かったが一週間後、ほとんどなくなりました。Last week I came to around here. The snow was deep, but has mostly melted one week later.

一週間前 One week ago

まず、この石が自然な物かな。人間が重ねったように見えますが何でここ。それとあの木が石の上から生えっています。

Firstly, I wonder if those stones are natural. It looks as though someone stacked them up. But why here? Also, that tree is growing out of the top of the stones.

先週の日曜日に春一番が吹きました。だから今回、落ちた枝が多いです。ダウンヒルを楽しめるためにトレイルを綺麗にして上っていきます。 Last Sunday we had the first spring winds. As a result, there were lots of fallen branches. I clear them off the trail on my way up, so that I can enjoy the downhill.

この木からこの種子莢が落ちました。初めて見た種子莢だと思います。中を見ると空っぽです。何という木でしょう？ These seed pods had fallen from this tree. I think it is the first time I have seen them. When I looked inside, they were empty. Wonder what the tree is.

ここがさらに狭くなった気がします。

やっぱり内カーブに深い雪が残っています。その以外に雪がほとんどないです。スノーライドになりません。 As expected, the remaining snow is deep on the inner corners, but there is almost no snow on the rest of the road. So there is no snow ride to be had today.

ここが渡りにくくなりました It has become difficult to cross here

この辺がいつも深い雪です。やっぱりまだ深い雪が残っています。今日のライドはここまでです。 The snow is always deep along this bit. And as expected, it is still deep here. So I decide not to go any further than here.
