今回、久美浜湾を一周して、探検しました。兜山と小天橋にも初めて行きました。久美浜駅の辺りから出発しました。（久美浜公園も良さそうです。無料駐車場があります。）早く兜山に登りたかったので、右回りに行きました。
This time I rode around Kumihama Bay and explored the area. It was also my first time to Mt. Kabuto and Shotenkyo. I started from the vicinity of Kumihama Station. (Kumihama Park also looks good as it has a free car park.) Because I wanted to climb Mt. Kabuto quickly, I went anti-clockwise.

宮津市内から杉山を見ると土砂崩れが見えません。しかし、台風18号から被害が起こったでしょう。市内にも被害が受けられたそうです。後４０センチで大手川が氾濫したと聞きました。ということは、大雨が後1時間降り続けたら、もう大変なことになりました。雨が弱まった良かったです。さあ！杉山林道のループコースを久しぶりに走りました。どうだったでしょう！
When looking at Sugiyama from in Miyazu City, I can't see any landslides. However, I gather Typhoon No. 18 caused some kind of damage. Apparently there was some damage in the city. I heard that Ote River was only 40 cm away from overflowing. So, if the heavy rain continued for only one more hour, it would have been disastrous. Luckily the rain weakened. Right! I rode the Sugiyama loop course for the first time in a long time. Let's see how it was.

めがねカッパさん（MK)と今年の2回目のアドベンチャー・ライドをしに行きました。この新聞記事にある場所を探しに行きました。希望はループ・コースを見つけることでしたが、ピストン・コースになりました。険しい山道でしたが、雰囲気が良くて、楽しいアドベンチャーでした。
I went for my second adventure ride of the year with Megane Kappa. We went searching for the location of the place in this newspaper article. We were hoping to find a loop course, but it ended up as a piston course. The mountain path was quite steep, but it was a really nice place and an enjoyable adventure.

今日でちょうど一年前、初めてハンミョウを見ましたが、最近見ていませんでした。いつも同じ場所で見ています。なんでいなくなったかな。今年はあの辺にいつもよりカエルが多くいて、ハンミョウを食べているかな。しかし、ハンミョウが非常に速いです。今年はたくさんのでかいトンボもいます。今日はトンボが飛んでいる間、飛んだばかり虫をつかまえて食べることを初めて見ました。もしかして、トンボがハンミョウを食べているでしょうか。また今日もだめだと思った時、ハンミョウを見ました。よかった！ゆっくり観察しました。満足です。
Exactly one year ago today, I saw a Japanese tiger beetle for the first time. But recently I haven't seen any. I always see them around the same place. I wonder why there haven't been any there recently. There are a lot more frogs than usual in that area this year. I wonder if they ate the Japanese tiger beetles. However, they are really fast. There are also a lot of huge dragonflies there this year too. Today, I saw a dragonfly catch another insect that had just taken off mid-air and eat it. I wonder if the Japanese tiger beetles were eaten by the dragonflies. Just when I was thinking today was no good too, I saw one. Yes! I took my time and observed it. I'm pretty happy with today's results.
