このコースが宮津市のベスト林道をつないで、素晴らしい眺めを楽しむコースです。今日は5人で走ります。

杉山林道 Sugiyama Forest Road先週の土曜日が猛烈に暑かったです。宮津市の気温が37.8℃でした。一週間後の今日(土)は全然違います。３０℃ぐらいで、風が強くて、曇っている日です。MTBにとって、いい天気です。久しぶりに杉山林道を全部走りました。鹿を見るのがあたりまえことですが、今回ウサギも見ました。山に入って、何を見るかがわかりません。それはMTBの一つの楽しみです。 Last week was a scorching hot day. Miyazu was 37.8℃. Today, one week later, it is completely different. It's about 30℃, windy and cloudy. Good weather for MTBing. I rode along the whole of Sugiyama trail for the first time in a long time. Naturally I saw deer, but this time I saw a rabbit too (first time on my bike). 宮津市花見ライド Miyazu Cherry Blossom Viewing Ride先週末の天気が悪かったですね。MTBで名所の花見をする予定でしたが悪天で諦めました。平日の天気が素晴らしいですので、朝にMTBで宮津のあちらこちらに行って花見をしました。 I was planning on viewing the cherry blossoms of some famous places by MTB last weekend, but gave up because of the bad weather. However, the week day weather has been perfect, so in the morning I went here and there around Miyazu by MTB to check out the cherry blossoms. 畑から成相山へ From Hata to Mt. Nariai去年11月に成相山に行ったとき、「畑」の方向に行く林道を見つけました。しかし途中、道の上に植物が生い茂っていましたので諦めました。そのとき、冬の間にその植物が枯れるかも知れないと思いました。だからもう一度春に行きたいと思いました。今日は行きます。日置から成相山に登りたいですが、今度、上る途中に畑という村の周辺を探検したいと思っています。 Last November, when I went up Mt. Nairai, I found a forest road that headed in the direction of 'Hata'. However, along the way, I came across a wall of plants where the road was overgrown. So I gave up. I thought that maybe those plants would die through the winter and I could come back and find out where the road goes in spring. That's where I'm heading today. This time I plan to go up Mt. 西喜多林道山頂の展望 View from the Peak at West Kita先週西喜多林道を上って、山頂まで尾根を歩いていきたかったが諦めました。なぜなら、熊笹が多くて、私のMTBシューズによくないと思いました。それと中国からの大気汚染がひどくて、あまり遠く見えませんでした。しかし、あの山頂から天橋立が見えるかどうか知りたくて知りたくて、今日はもう一度行きました。 Last week, I climbed up West Kita Forest Road and was hoping to walk along the ridge to the peak, but gave up. The reason being that there were a lot of 'kumazasa' (literally 'bear bamboo grass'), and I thought it would be ruining my MTB shoes. Also, the pollution from China was quite bad and the visibility was quite low. 杉山 Sugiyama今日はいい天気ですので、山へ行きます。この前の一週間がそんなに寒くなっかったから雪が大分解けたでしょう。いつもと違う林道に行って見るかな。いや...いい天気だからやっぱり展望がある所に行きたいです。また杉山林道に向かいます。 It's a beautiful day, so I'm going to hit the mountains. This last week wasn't so cold so I guess the snow has melted quite a bit. I think I might try out a different trail. Nah ... It's a beautiful day, so I want to go somewhere with a view. 杉山雪上ライド Sugiyama Snow Ride今日も杉山に行きました。やっぱり冬にはこの林道が一番です。冬の間にこの林道ばかり走っても飽きません。最高です!!!同じ写真ばかりをアップしないように今日のテーマは「岩」です。 Today, I went up Sugiyama again. This is definitely the best trail in winter. Even if I only rode this trail in winter, I'd never get sick of it. It's perfect for winter. So that I don't up-load the same photos all the time, today's theme is 'bolder'. 栗田半島「田井大垣自転車道」 Kunda Peninsula 「Cycling Road」宮津市は沢山の素晴らしい山林道だけではなく、素晴らしい海辺も沢山あります。もちろん一番有名のは天橋立ですが今日は栗田半島を一周して、三つのパラダイスほど素晴らしい海辺を通りました。
ＴＡＮＴＡＮロングライドのちょっと前に下のチラシが新聞に入っていました。山が全然ないサイクリングロードが載せてありました。家族又は彼女と一緒にこういうコースはいいですね。もちろん自転車で天橋立を渡るのが最高ですしその辺にレンタルバイクが多いです。しかし、栗田半島にある田井までのシーサイド・サイクリングロードもいいですよ。 Miyazu not only has lots of fantastic mountainous forest roads, but also it has many fantastic beaches. Of course Amanohashidate is the most famous, but today I rode around Kunda Peninsula and passed 3 awesome beaches that looked like paradise. A couple of days before the TANTAN Long Ride event, the flier below was in my newspaper. It showed Cycling roads that have no hills at all. These roads are perfect to go cycling on with your family or girlfriend. Of course, crossing over Amanohashidate by bike is fantastic and there are many bikes for hire in this area. However, the seaside cycling road to Tai Village on Kunda Peninsula is also a very nice ride. |
