オーストラリア　Australia

3年ぶりにオーストラリアに行きました。日本では服と靴がなかなか買えないので、ほとんど毎日買い物をしました。仕事のためも色んなものを買いましたが、当ブログで、見た野生生物やサイクリングしたい場所や食べたものを紹介します。
I went to Australia for the first time in 3 years. It's difficult for me to buy clothes and footwear in Japan, so I spent most days shopping. I also bought various things for my business, but in my blog this time I will introduce some wild animals I saw, a place I want to go cycling around and some food I ate.

私が気に入ったのは下記のキバタンでした。非常に面白い鳥です。 The bird that I liked the most were the cockatoos, which you can see below. They were lots of fun.

私はハンバーガーが大好きです。オーストラリアにいる間、5つ食べました。ケアンズ空港での1つと下記の4つ。 I love hamburgers. I ate 5 while in Australia. 1 at Cairns Airport on the morning I arrived and the 4 below.

このシュニッツェル・ハンバーガーはOMGというものです。OMGは「oh my God」の略語で、自分の興奮や驚きの感情を表します。

My first schnitzel burger. This one was called OMG. It contained, a schnitzel, tasty cheese, rindless bacon, pineapple, egg, baby cos lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, BBQ Relish & Aioli

Tasty cheese, crispy bacon, free range egg, a couple of slices of beetroot with salad, relish & herbed mayo

和牛ワンダー・バーガー Wagyu wunder burger

Premium wagyu pattie with Dijon mustard, pickle, aged cheddar, spanish onion, smoked sea salt, tomato sauce & egg mayo

マッシュルーム・ハンバーガー Shroom burger

Crisp fried mushrooms filled with melted gouda and gruyere cheese, lettuce, tomato, Betty's special sauce

妹の家族が3日間キャンプしていました。ドライブして、そのキャンプ場を訪問しました。 My sister's family was camping for 3 days. We went for a drive to visit them.

私はハンバーガーだけではなくて、ミートパイも大好きです。キャンプ場に行く途中、このステーキとマッシュルームパイやマッシュポテトや グレービーを食べました。 I not only love hamburger's, but also meat pies. I had this steak & mushroom pie, mashed potato and gravy on the way to the camping ground.

クーンババ湖野鳥観察所　Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Area

ここでカンガルーやコアラのようなオーストラリアの野生動物を無料で見えます。いつかここでサイクリングをしたいと思います。今回コアラがいる所まで行きませんでしたが、カンガルーを100匹ぐらいみました。
Here you can see wild Australian animals such as kangaroos & koalas for free. I'd like to cycle around this area some time. This time we didn't make it to where the koalas are, but we saw around 100 kangaroos.

母乳をやっていますが、ちょっと大きくない！？ あの鳥がズグロトサカゲリで、顔が面白いです。 The Kangaroo is drinking milk off it's mother, but isn't it a little on the big side!? That bird is a 'masked lapwing' and has an interesting looking face.

左のカンガルーはポケットに子カンガルーが入っています。 The kangaroo on the left is carrying a joey in it's pouch.

誰でもサイクリングできる場所です。勿論歩いてもいいです。 Anybody could cycle around here. Of course, it's good for walking too.

この辺にパドルボードが人気で、安くで借りることができます。

Paddle boards are popular in this area and you can rent them cheaply.

甥子が魚釣りにはまっています。学校に行く前に池で魚釣りをしました。 My nephew is hooked on fishing. We went fishing before school.

鴨。鴨を追い払うために甥子がシュー！シュー！と言っています。（ビデオの一番最後の方に聞こえます。） Duck. My nephew was saying Shoo! Shoo! to scare the ducks away. ( You can hear him saying it at the very end of the video.)

この店で子供の暮すのための教材を買いました。とても面白い店です。 I bought some things for the kids' classes here. This is a really interesting shop.

ということで、オーストラリアで楽しい旅ができました。ゴルドコーストがとても面白い場所です。夏は私にとって暑すぎますが、今の季節が最高です。
So, to wrap things up, I had an enjoyable trip to Australia. Gold Coast is an interesting place. Summer is way too hot for me, but this season is perfect.
