1. ​ニュージーランドへ  1.​ To New Zealand

年末に3年ぶりに私の母国であるニュージーランドに帰りました。アウトドア・ライフが好きだったら、ニュージーランドが最高です。私の趣味はマウンテンバイクで、ニュージーランドはＭＴＢトレイルが非常に多くある国です。ＭＴＢが車の後ろに付けてあるのをよく見ます。私は今回もできるだけニュージーランドのアウトドア・ライフを楽しみました。ちょっとずっつ私の旅を当ブログで紹介します。
At Christmas, I returned home to my mother country, New Zealand, for the first time in 3 years. If you like the outdoor life, then New Zealand (NZ) is unbeatable. My hobby is mountain biking and NZ has an enormous amount of mountain bike trails, so it is common to see vehicles with MTBs on the back of them. I enjoyed the outdoors as much as possible this trip too. I'll tell you about my trip little by little on this blog.

今回関西空港からオークランド空港まで、そしてクライストチャーチまで飛びました。10時間35分、そして1時間20分かかりました。This time I flew from Kansai Airport to Auckland Airport, and then on to Christchurch Airport. It took 10 hrs 35 min and then 1 hr 20 min.

日本からニュージーランドに行く時に夜の便です。私はあまり寝られないので、夜の便が大嫌いです。しかし、今回は超ラッキーでした。飛行機が満席の近くでしたが、私の隣の二つの席に誰もいませんでした。 It's a night flight going from Japan to NZ. I hate night flights because I can hardly get any sleep. But I got really lucky on this flight. Although the plane was almost full, the two seats beside me were empty.

晩ご飯。ビーフにしました。ビーフがすごくおいしかったです。大満足でした。 Dinner. I choose the beef. The beef was really delicious. I was more than happy with it.

朝ご飯。普通でした。Breakfast. It was just okay.

ニュージーランドの南島の北端にあるフェアエル・スピットが見えます。鯨とイルカがよく座礁する沙嘴です。長さが35kmです。2017年2月11日に400頭以上のゴンドウクジラが打ち上げられた事件もありました。 I can see Farewell Spit which is at the top of the South Island. It's a sand spit where whales and dolphins often get stranded. It's 35 km long. On Feb 11, 2017 over 400 pilot whales got stranded there.

フェアエル・スピットが私の古里(宮津市の姉妹都市）、ネルソン市の近くです。 Farewell Spit is close to my home town ( Miyazu's sister city ), Nelson.

カンタベリー平原を見下ろす図。ほとんど牧場と農場です。 Looking down on the Canterbury Plains. It's mostly farmland.

色んな形と色が見えます。あの旗のように見える場所は一つの牧場です。牧場散水がしやすい形です。 There are many shapes and colors down there.That flag shaped place is a farm. That shape makes it easy to irrigate a large area.
