7. クリスマス・デイとNZのMTBカレンダー Christmas Day
クリスマス・デイも素晴らしい天気でした。このふうにクリスマスを祝います。 The weather was great on Christmas day too. This is how we celebrate Christmas.

 クリスマス・ブランチ。美味しかった！！！ホット・クロワッサン、ベーコン、スクランブルエッグ、チーズ、スモーク・サーモン Christmas brunch. Scrumptious!!! Hot croissant, bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese and smoked salmon. |  シャンパンと苺 Champagne & strawberries |
 クリスマスツリー。これは松の木の枝です。Our Christmas tree. This is the branch of a pine tree. |  クリスマス・プレセントが沢山あります。猫も飼っています。「シンバ」です。 There are lots of Christmas presents. This is the pet cat, Simba. |
 プレセントを開けています。世帯主がサンタの役割をします。Opening the presents. The man of the house plays the role of Santa. |  プレセントの時間のスナック。ショートブレッド、クリスマス・タート、クリスマスケーキ、チョコレート。 Snacks for while opening presents. Shortbread, Christmas tart, Christmas cake & chocolates. |
 これは本物のクリスマスケーキです。妹が作りました。日本のクリスマスケーキがただのスポンジケーキです。私にとって、クリスマスケーキではありません。 |  This is a real Christmas cake. My sister baked it. A Japanese Christmas cake is nothing more than a sponge cake. For me, that isn't a Christmas cake. |
 でかい！！！これはクリスマス・ハムです。ニュージーランドでは伝統的にクリスマス・ハムを食べます。 It's huge！！！ This is the Christmas ham. In New Zealand we traditional have a Christmas ham. |  クリスマス・ハムが焼かれてところです。このハムがめちゃ美味しかったです。The Christmas ham has just been roasted. This ham was really delicious. |
 クリスマス・ディナーです。ジャガイモ、ロースト・ハム、ローストチキン、ロースト・パンプキン、ロースト・さつま芋、グレービー(ラム用とチキン用)、青豌豆、ロースト・ラム Christmas dinner. Potatoes, roast ham, roast chicken, roast pumpkin, roast sweet potato, Gravy (for lamb, for chicken), green peas, roast lamb. |  ハムとチキンの間にチキン詰め物「スタッフィング」が見えます。 You can see the chicken stuffing between the ham and chicken. |
私のクリスマス・ディナーです。青豌豆の上にミント・ソースです。ミント・ソースを青豌豆とラムの上にかけると美味しいです。私は大好きです。食べたことがなかったら、多分日本人がこの味が想像できません。 This is my Christmas dinner. That is mint sauce on the green peas. Mint sauce tastes really good on green peas and lamb. I love it. For Japanese, if you have never tried mint sauce before, you probably can't imagine the taste.
 クリスマス・デザート。これは「パブロワ」です。(果物と生クリームで満たされたメレンゲベースかカップから成るデザート) Christmas desert. This is pavlova. (Meringue base covered with fresh cream and topped with fruit) |  クリスマス・デザート。これは「 トライフル」です。(果物またはゼリーが塗られたスポンジケーキの層でできている冷たいプリン) Christmas desert. This is a trifle. (A cold pudding made of layers of sponge cake spread with fruit or jelly) |
