大晦日の雲海とスノー上ライド

大江山の雲海 Oeyama's Sea of Clouds

午前７時ごろ外に出て、気温がマイナス１℃で、霜が降りていました。今朝は宮津市MTBerの大晦日ライドで、集合時間は８時でした。青空の下に（車で）大江山に向かいました。
When I went outside at 7 a.m. this morning, it was -1℃ and it was white from frost. This morning the Miyazu MTBers were having a New Year's Eve ride and the meeting time was 8 a.m.. So I headed for Oeyama (by car) under a blue sky.

西喜多の岩へ To West Kita's Rock

今日は西喜多林道を上って、岩に座って、ご飯を食べながら展望を楽しみたかったです。作業道に入って、間もなく何かの匂いがしました。ドキドキして、獣の匂いですか。ちょっと変わった臭いでした。突然、何かが動きました。ワクワクしました。
Today I wanted to go up West Kita Forest Road, sit on a rock, and eat while enjoying the view. Not long after entering the mountain road, I suddenly smelled something. All my senses suddenly became heightened. Is it a wild animal. It's a little different to what I'm used to smelling. Suddenly, something moved. Exciting stuff.

年末MTB遊び End of Year MTBing

土曜日に大年砂防ダムに行って、日曜日に回復して、月曜日に雪を探しに行きました。 On Saturday I went to Otoshi-Sabo Dam, recovered on Sunday, and then went looking for snow on Monday.

コンツアーの衝突

昨日、クリスマス会を行って、その後、体が痛いほど疲れていました。その夜、風呂に入って、こたつで寝てしまいました。ふとんに入る前に（午前１時ごろ）メガネカッパさんからのメールに気がつきました。えっ！！！２１：２３に届きました。明日の朝、６時３０分にMTBしようと書いてありました。ムリ！むり！無理！...しかし、快晴の天気になるそうですので久しぶりにMTBに乗りたいです。
I held my 'kids' Xmas party' yesterday and after that was so tired that my body was sore. That night, I had a bath and then fell asleep at my 'kotatsu' (table with a heater under it and a quilt to stop the heat escaping). Before going to bed at 1 a.m., I noticed mail from Megane Kappa. Eh!!! It had arrived at 21:23 and asked me if I wanted to go MTBing at 6:30 a.m. in the morning. no way! No Way! NO WAY! ... But it is forecast to be awesome weather, so I definitely want to go MTBing since I haven't been able to recently.
