明日行くつもりでしたが今日の予定が急にキャンセルされましたので今日に行きます。今年9月に毛原の棚田に行った時、また秋に行って二瀬川渓流の紅葉を見たいと思いました。そして、毛原の棚田から辛皮まで山を越える道がありそうでした。それも探検したいと思いました。今日はこの二つのことが目的として大江山に向かいます。
I was going to go tomorrow, but since today's plans were suddenly cancelled, I decided to go today. When I went to [Kehara Terraced Rice Fields] in September this year, I thought I'd like to see the Futase River's autumn foliage view. Also, it looked as though there was a road from 'Kehara Terraced Rice Fields' over the mountain to Karakawa. I thought I'd like to explore this too. So, with these 2 goals in mind, I head for Oe-yama

今日は先週と同じルートで成相山を登って、そして、紅葉を楽しみながら、世屋高原に行く予定です。今朝、天気が素晴らしいです。ラッキーと思いながら家を出ました。しかし、1分ぐらい走ると成相山の方が曇っていることがわかりました。後で山の方も晴れるかな。 Today's plan is to follow the same route as last week up Mt. Nariai, and the while enjoying the autumn colors, ride across to Seya Highlands. The weather is beautiful in Miyazu this morning. Feeling lucky, I depart home. However, after 1 minute, I realize it is cloudy around Mt. Nariai.

今日はどこに行こうかな。迷っています。世屋高原に行きたいですが、紅葉がまだ早いでしょうかな。成相山には探検をしたい林道があるので、その辺に向かいます。
Where shall I go today? I'm undecided. I want to go to Seya Highlands, but I think it's still a little early for the autumn leaves. There's a forest road I want to explore at Mt. Nariai, so I head for there.

最近、週に二回ぐらい朝に阿蘇海を一周しています。秋の青空で最高です。私の家からちょうど20㎞の気持ちがいいライドです。先週と今週は一つの場所で毎回必ず魚釣りをしている人が多かったです。あっという間に通りますがそのうちに必ず誰かが魚を釣りました。何を釣っているでしょうか。知りたいです。
Recently I ride around Aso-Kai Lagoon twice a week in the morning. It's a really nice ride with a blue autumn sky. From my house, it's exactly 20 km and is a pleasant ride. This week and last week, when I rode past one spot in particular, there were a lot of people fishing every time. Even though I ride past in a flash, I always saw someone pulling in a fish. I wonder what they are catching. I want to know.

昨日の夕方に天気予報をみて、今日は晴れですと書いてありました。嬉しくて嬉しくて!!!。その夜、又見ると曇りの天気で、午後3時から小雨ですと書いてありました。「どうしょう！どうしょう！」と思っていたが、3時から雨でしたら大江山北西林道だけ走られるから行きましょうと決めました。しかし今日午前10時前に小雨が降り始めました。ヤフーに騙されたと感じました。皆で相談して、楽しいショートコースを走ることにしました。距離が22㎞、時間が2時間12分という十分楽しいライドになりました。
When I looked at the weather forecast around 6 last night it said fine weather for today. That made me really happy. Then later in the evening when I looked again, it said cloudy with light rain from around 3 pm. Oh no! What to do! If it rains from 3, we still have plenty of time to just run the Northwest Oeyama route. So I decided to go ahead with our ride. However, just before 10 am it started to rain lightly. I felt deceived by Yahoo. After a little pow-wow with the guys, we decided to just do a fun short course. At a distance of 22 km and a time of 2 hrs 15 min, it was adequate enough fun.
