Tango Jukan Rindo (Ouchi Mt. Pass ・ Okuyori Sections)

素晴らしい天気で、ずっと一日中雲が全然ありませんでした。今回の目的地はずっと何年前から行ってみたかった場所です。いいところを発見しましたよ。もしかして．．．マウンテンバイクにとっていいところかも知れません。５１㎞のライドでしたし、ほとんど向い風がありました。疲れました！！！また車で行ってMTBでゆっくり探検したいです。
It was a beautiful cloudless day all day. This time's destination was a place I'd been wanting to check out for many years. I might have discovered a good place for mountain biking. It was a 51km ride with a headwind most of the time. I was EXHAUSTED！！！ I'd like to go again by car and explore at leisure on my MTB.

府中にウカワの群がいました。約１０羽の群でした。

There was a flock of about 10 cormorants hanging around Fuchuu.

すごい！！！キンクロハジロがものすごく多いです。この辺だけでおよそ３００羽がいるでしょう。

Wow！！！ There are so many 'tufted ducks' here. In this area alone I'd say there are about 300 of them.

Tango Jukan Rindo Road. Ouchi Mt. Pass section.

まずは大内峠を走ります。 First, I'll ride the Ouchi Mt. Pass route.

大内峠からの眺めが素晴らしいです。こういう展望が数えられないほどあります。道路も広くて素晴らしいです。車でも、ロードサイクルでも楽に走られます。私は何回も走ったことがありますが、いつも曇りの日でした。やっと、今日は素晴らしい写真が撮れます。

The views from Ouchi Mt. Pass are fantastic. This kind of view can be seen from multiple places along the road. The road is wide and really nice. Cars and road-cycles can use it with no trouble at all. I've ridden it a fair few times, but it has always been cloudy. At last, I can take some beautiful pictures.

Ichjikan Park

The start point of the Tango Peninsula driving course, it is the best view point to see the Iwataki township. The view of Amanohasidate is one of the top three views and lines up Monju with Kunda Pass.

Ouchi Mt. Pass

It is a mountain pass leading out of Omiya town and is an outstanding viewing spot of Amanohashidate which forms the shape of a horozontal stroke for the Chinese character one '一'. It has been a favoured place for artists since ancient times.

Itanami Lookout

Just north of Ouchi Mt. Pass. You can look across to Monju, which is completely hidden when looking from the actual pass.

憩の広場 Ikoi-no-Hiroba Rest Area

憩の広場もいいですよ。駐車場が広いし、色んな花が見えます。もちろん、絶景ポイントです。

Ikoi-no-Hiroba Rest Area is also a nice spot. The car-park is big and there are always many flowers when I pass by. Of course, the view is also amazing.

Tango Jukan Rindo Road. Okuyori section

ここから丹後縦貫林道の奥寄線に入ります。左は岩滝町へと右は大宮へです。 From here I enter the Okuyori part of the Tango Jukan Rindo Road. Left goes to Iwataki Town and right goes to Omiya Town.

奥寄り線に戻って、ずっと上って行きます I return to the Okuyori Road and climb on up & up

これだけがありますが、何のために全然わかりません。This is all that is here, but I have no idea what it is.

お～！天橋立が見えます。

Oh！ You can see Amanohashidate from here.

新しい角度を発見しました。この写真を私のコレクションに追加します。 I found a new angle (to see Amanohashidate). I'll have to add this one to my collection.
