やっぱりトレイルがあった！！！

上宮津の新トレイル New Kamimiyazu Trail

だいぶ前から京都府道16号から西喜多林道まで道があると私は思いました。どの道があるかわかりませんでしたが、登山道か古道か何かがあると思いました。なぜなら地図に点線が書いてありました。2004年(平成16年）に発生した台風23号の後、西喜多林道側から探しに行ったが全然見えませんでした。被害がひどかったし…今日は京都府道16号側から探しに行きました。発見！！！
From long ago, I thought there was a path from Kyoto Prefecture Route 16 to Nishi Kita Forest Road. I didn't know whether it was a hiking track, ancient road or what, but I thought there must be something there. Why? Because I saw a line on a map indicating something was there. After the devastating Typhoon No. 23 of 2004, I went looking for the path, but couldn't find it. The damage was pretty bad amongst other things. So, today I went looking for it again, but this time from Kyoto Prefecture Route 16

滑りやすい橋 Slippery bridge

いい道ですが、落ちた枝が多過ぎます。熊手で掃除したら、地元のMTBerにとって、楽しいループコースになります。 It's a good track but there are too many branches on it. It would make a good loop course for the locals.

作業道に出ます。思ったより作業道が多いです。 coming out onto a forest worker's road. There are more roads in here than I imagined.

思った通り、西喜多林道に出ました。これは道でしたか。気が付きませんでした。出た時に大きいオス鹿を見ました。 I came out onto Nishi Kita Forest Road. I never noticed that this was a road. As I came out, I saw a big stag.
