Fuji Four Lakes & Fuji Moss Phlox Festival Ride (part 1)

おはよう！はい、富士五湖に来ました。富士四湖と富士しばざくら祭のライドをしに来ました。さあ！どんな天気になって、どんなビューを見たでしょうか。見て楽しんでください。
Good morning! Yes, I came to Fuji Five Lakes to ride around four of the lakes and also see the Fuji Moss Phlox Festival. So, what was the weather like? What views did I see? Please look and enjoy.

よかった！富士山が見えて、いい天気になりそうです。 That's a relief! You can see Mt. Fuji & it looks like it will be a nice day.

私の車の上でこの小鳥と大きな鳥の戦いを楽しめました。 I enjoyed watching a bigger bird try to chase this little bird away (above my car)

河口湖：　標高８３４．５m　水深２１．０m　面積６．１km²　周囲１９．９５㎞
Lake Kawaguchi Altitude 834.5 m, Depth 21 m, Area 6.1 km², Shore length 19.95 km 

河口湖、大石公園の駐車場に泊まりました。午前６時１５分ごろMTBで出発しました。 I stayed the night in the car park of Ooishi Park, Lake Kawaguchi. I left on my MTB at about 6:15 a.m..

河口湖 Lake Kawaguchiko

最高！　来てよかった！やっぱり朝早く走るのが気持ちがいいです。湖に映り込んだ景色がすごく綺麗です。河口湖から西湖までちょっと上ります。 Awesome! I'm glad I came. It feels so good early in the morning.The reflections of the scenery in the lake are stunning. From Lake Kawaguchiko, it is a little climb up to Lake Saiko.

西湖 Lake Saiko

西湖：　標高９０２m　水深７１．７m　面積２．１㎞²　周囲９．９㎞
Lake Saiko: Altitude 902 m, Depth 71.7 m, Area 2.1 km², Shore length 9.9 km

精進湖まで約６ｋｍです。ちょっと上ってから下ります。周りは溶岩上原生林で、面白いです。途中、野鳥の森公園があります。 It's 6 km to Lake Shojiko. It's downhill after climbing up a little. The ride is through virgin forest growing on a magma field. It's really interesting. Yachonomori Park is on the way.

歩道があるので安心に走られます There is a footpath, so you can ride with no worries.

はい、周りの森は青木ヶ原樹海です。この森の中にあまり入りたくないですね。 Yes, The surrounding forest is the infamous Aokigahara Jukai. I don't really want to go into it.
