6月ごろにあの沢にこういうナイス・サイズの魚をよく見ました。しかし、大雨の後、沢があちらこちらに大分変りました。魚はどこに行ったでしょう！？大雨の後、宮津市の二つの大きな滝を見に行きました。
In June,I often saw this kind of nice size fish in that mountain stream. However, then the torrential rains hit and many stream was changed in many spots. I wonder where the fish went. After the heavy rain, I went to look at Miyazu's 2 biggest waterfalls.

今福の滝 Imabuku Waterfall
 まず、今福の滝を見に行きました。 First I went to see Imabuku Waterfall |  道が川になりました。 The path has become a river. |
 上り途中、軽食をします。 I stop for a quick snack on the way up. |  まず、展望台から見ます。 First, I look at it from the lookout. |
 初めて、2の滝と3の滝の間に行って、真ん中から滝を見ます。 |  For the first time, I go in between the 2nd and 3rd tier of the waterfall and look at it from its middle. |
今福の滝 2の滝 The 2nd tier of Imabuku Waterfall
今福の滝 3の竜 （2の滝と3の滝の高さは約40メートルです）。滝風が冷たくてすごく気持ちがいい。帰りたくないほど気持ちがいい。 The 3rd tier of Imabuku Waterfall. (The 2nd and 3rd tier combined are about 40 meters high). The breeze from the waterfall felt so good. So good in fact that I didn't want to leave.
金引の滝 Kanabiki Waterfall
次は金引の滝を見に行きました。ここの滝風も気持ちがよかったです。しかし、地面に土が多かったです。滝のすぐ下にある滝場地区にたくさんの高校生のボランティアが流れれてきた土を土嚢に入れていました。びっくりしました。宮津市にも大雨で被害が多かったです。知りませんでした。 Next I went to check out Kanabiki Waterfall. The breeze from the waterfall felt so nice here too. But, there was a lot of dirt on the ground. In the Takiba District just below the waterfall, there were a lot of high school student volunteers putting dirt that had come down with the flooding waters, into sandbags. I was surprised. I didn't realize Miyazu had suffered quite a bit of damage from the deluge.

カメムシの幼虫です。そうですよ。この綺麗な虫がカメムシです。残念ですね。これはアオカメムシです。 It's a stink bug nymph. Yes, that's right! This beautiful insect is a stink bug. Isn't that disappointing! This one is called 'aokamemushi' (lit. green stink bug) in Japanese.

アゲハです。大きくてとても綺麗な生き物でした。 It is a swallowtail butterfly. It was quite large and beautiful.
今年の夏は非常に暑かったです。頭が痛くならないようにほとんど、エアコンの部屋に引きこもりでした。秋を楽しみにしています。
It was brutally hot this summer. I spent most of my time in and air conditioned room so that I wouldn't get a headache. I'm looking forward to Autumn.
