先々週に天橋立を渡った時に松枯れ対策の作業がされていました。この説明を見つけました。「天橋立には約５千本もの松がありますが、その松も近年の松枯れ被害を受けており、景観保全のための松枯れ対策も大変重要な業務となっております。丹後土木事務所では、地上からの薬剤散布、スプリンクラーによる消毒に加えて、ラジコン・ヘリコプターによる消毒液の散布も行い、松枯れ対策に努めています。マツ材線虫病（松枯れ被害）の病原体であるマツノザイセンチュウを運搬するマツノマダラカミキリを駆除するため、サナギから羽化脱出期にあわせて薬剤散布を行い

かなり大きいですよ。両側に消毒液のタンクがあります。 It's quite large. There is a tank on each side for the insecticide.
先週に阿蘇海の海水が綺麗でした。モーニング・ライドの間に色んな魚を見ました。しかし、このエイの写真しか撮りませんでした。 Last week, the water in Aso-kai Lagoon was really clear. I saw various fish while on my morning ride. However, I only took a photo of this ray.
尻尾を含めて、多分このエイの長さが約140センチです。 Including its tail, this ray is probably about 140 cm long.
今週末に山に向かいました。まず、大手川を渡るときにボラの群れをいくつか見ました。 This weekend, I headed for the mountains. First, I saw a few schools of mullet in Ote River.

大手川に鯉もいます。 There are also carp in Ote River.
オオアオイトトンボ Emerald Damselfly
次は、トンボを観察しました。オオアオイトトンボというトンボだと思います。これは特に面白かったです。下記の動画をご覧になってください。 Next, I observed some damselflies. I think their name is 'emerald damselfly'. This was particularly interesting. Watch the video below.

落ちている竹の葉を観察したことがありますか。くるくる回転しながら落ちます。ゆっくり落ちながら色んな方向に飛ぶ葉もあります。 Have you ever observed falling bamboo leaves? They spin rapidly as they fall. Some leaves fly in various directions as they slowly float down.
何というクモでしょうか。 I wonder what kind of spider this is.
今年はハンミョウを観察したいと思います。ユーチューブでハンミョウについてNHK番組を見て、色々学びました。秋につかみたいです。これはオスですね。 I want to observe 'Japanese tiger beetles' this year. I watched an NHK program about them on YouTube and learned a lot. I want to catch one this autumn. This one is a male, isn't it.
