大江山北西林道 SW Ooeyama Trail
今日は久しぶりにめがねカッパさん(MK)と一緒に山に向かいました。７ヶ月ぶりに大江山北西林道を走ることにしました。行く理由が二つありました。一つ目はトレールの状態を確認することで（又ベスト・オブ・ざ・ベストを走りたいからです）、二つ目は去年の１１月に行ったとき、カズヒロさんのなくしたパック・カバーを探すことでした。しかし、もう無理でしょう。絶対どこかまで風で飛んでいたと思います。トレールの入口に行く途中、この話をMKさんに言って、楽しくトレールに入りました。
For the first time in quite some time, I head to the mountains with Megane Kappa (MK). We decide to ride the Ooeyama Northwest Trail. Two reasons for choosing this course being: To check the condition of the trail since I'd like to ride the 'Best of the Best' again some time. And the second reason is to see if we can find Kazuhiro's pack cover which he lost last November there. I think that is a hopeless task as it has no doubt been blown away by the wind somewhere. On the way up to the trail entrance, I mention this to MK. Enjoying ourselves, we enter the trail.

急に後ろから「これだ！！！」と聞きました。何でしょうと思って、後ろを見るとMKさんが何かにさしていました。私は熊の足跡かな又は熊のフンかなと思いました。戻ったら．．．すごい！！！．．．信じられない！！！．．．カズヒロさんのパック・カバーだ。私は先に通ったが、全然気が付かなかったです。何よりもまだ路面の上にあることがすごいですよね。風があまり吹かない場所でした。
Suddenly from behind me I hear "Here it is!!!". Wondering what MK has found, I turn to look behind me thinking it would be a bear foot print or bear poo. I go over to see what it is ... WOW!!! ... UNBELIEVABLE!!! ... It's Kazuhiro's pack cover. I passed there first but didn't even notice it. The most amazing thing is that it's still on the road. It's in a spot sheltered from the wind.

山を下りて、後ろを見るとMKさんが全然いませんでした。数分を待っても来ません。おかしいなぁ～と思って電話をしてみますが、MKさんが出ません。もうちょっと待ちますがMKさんがまだ現れません。もしかして事故？嫌だ！！！また上らないといけません。１㎞ぐらい行くと、歩いているMKさんの姿が現れました。よかった！！！パンクだった。安全な場所を見つけて、棘を取って、修理して、帰りました。楽しいライドでした。あのトレールがとてもいい！！！
When I get down near the bottom of the mountain, I turn around but can't see MK anywhere. I wait a few minutes and still nothing. Thinking that was strange, I try to call him but no answer. I wait a little longer, but still nothing. Thinking he's had an accident or something, I head back up the mountain. After about 1 km MK appears pushing his bike. He got a puncture. We find a safe spot, pull out the thorn, repair it and head home. That was a fun ride. It really is a nice trail.
