杉山スノーライド Sugiyama Snow Ride
またスノーライドをしに行きました。この前よりもうちょっと遠く行けましたが、雪がまだ深いです。めちゃ楽しかった。やっぱりスノーライドが面白い！！！
I went for another snow ride. This time I was able to go further up the mountain than last time. However, the snow is still quite deep. It was really enjoyable coming down though. Snow rides are definitely a lot of fun.

 大雪の時、倒木と折れた枝が多いです。この辺の湿った雪が重たいので被害が出やすいです。 |  After heavy snow there are always a lot fallen trees and broken branches. The snow in this part of Japan is wet and heavy and can easily cause damage to trees. |
ヤマガラ Varied Tit
杉山にヤマガラが多くいて、この前の2ヶ月、私はヤマガラの写真を撮ろうとしていました。しかし、なかなか撮れませんでした。この小さい鳥がなかなかじっとしてくれません。今日はやっといい写真が撮れました。
There are quite a few 'varied tits' on Sugiyama. Over the past 2 months or so, I've been trying to take a photo of them But without much luck. These little birds won't stay still for me. By the time I find them with zoom on max, they flitter off somewhere else. I was finally able to get some good photos of them today.

 鹿の足跡がものすごく多いですが、この足跡は何でしょうか。狸のでしょう。 There are deer footprints everywhere, but what are these ones? I think they might be from a tanuki (raccoon dog). |  |
 2番目のチェーンまで来ました。ここからの雪がスノーライドのために深すぎます。ということで、本日はここまでです。 I've made it to the 2nd chain. The snow from here is too deep for a snow ride. And thus, this is as far as I'll go this time. |  こんなに深いです。てっぺんまでまだまだ遠いです。 This is how deep the snow is here. It's still a long way to the top. |
本日はすごく楽しいスノーライドでした。面白かった！！！大満足で帰ります。 Today's snow ride was a lot of fun. I head home glad that I came.
