金引の滝-滝上公園-天橋立 Kanabiki Falls - Takigami Park - Amanohashidate

昨日と今日、同じコースを走りました。昨日は走るだけでしたが、今日は走りながらカメラ遊びをしました。金引の滝からのコースが長くないので、真夏に完璧です。それと入口が私の家から自転車で５分以内です。上から色んなオプションがありますが一人の場合に主に滝上公園に出ます。夏によく行くコースですので、誰でも行きたいと思うけれども一人で行きたくないと思ったらいつでも声をかけてください。ご一緒に行きましょう。熊をはじめ色んな獣がいるので、一人で行く場合に気を付けてください。
I went along exactly the same course yesterday and today. However, while I only rode my bike for exercise yesterday, today I had a play with my camera along the course. The course from Kanabiki Waterfall isn't so long, so it's perfect in the middle of summer. Also, the entrance is less than 5 minutes from my place. From the top there are different options, but when alone, I mainly go down to Takigami Park. It's a course that I often cycle in summer, so if anybody wants to go, but doesn't want to go alone, then feel free to let me know anytime and we can go together. If you go alone, please be careful as there are all kinds of wild beasts, including bears, in this area.

セミ Cicada

↑ 昨日と今日、セミが非常に多かった。鳴いていなかったが、私が近づいたらセミが飛び逃げました。今日は平気だったが、昨日は何回も私の鼻とサングラスの辺がセミにぶつかりました。セミは結構大きいですので...「ゴツンと顔に当たった」...びっくりした。「なんだこれ？」と思いました。セミが私のスングラスを攻撃していたようでした。サングラスレンズの反射と関係があったでしょう。There were a lot of cicadas both yesterday and today. They weren't singing, but as I approached they flew away. It didn't happen today, but yesterday they flew into my nose and sunglasses multiple times. Cicadas are quite big so ...'thwack', 'bang' ... I wondered what the heck was going on. It was as if the cicadas were attacking my glasses. Probably had something to do with the reflection in my sunglasses though.
セミが顔に当たるときの擬音語か擬態語がわかりません。「ゴツンと」を使いましたがおかしかったら、適当の言い方を教えてください。

↑昨日はこの丸太がなかった。先ほど登山団を通り過ぎました。多分誰かがこれをその登山団の椅子のために準備したでしょう。穏やかな場所です。 竹と苔が私の一番好きな草木ゾーンです。These logs weren't here yesterday. I passed a group hiking before. I guess they prepared these as seats for them. It really is a tranquil place. Bamboo groves (and moss) are my favorite type of vegetation to ride through.

↑金引の滝にいたとき何かに刺されました。耳の辺がしびれていて痛いです。耳と目の近くのがやばいです。見たくて見たくてけれども鏡がありません。だから写真を撮って見ました。今でも痛いですが、大丈夫だと思います。
When I was at Kanabiki Waterfall something stung me near my ear. Around my ear is all tingly and sore. It seems to be spreading. I'm a bit concerned at it being so close to my ear and eye. I really want to take a look but I don't have a mirror. So I take a photo to look at it. Even now it stings, but I think it will be ok. Just feels like a bee sting.

ここは悪臭がひどい。猪が死んでいるでしょう。トンビも多くいる。めちゃくせー！Man does it stink here. I think a rotting wild boar carcass is nearby. There are lots of kites flying around. It reminds of the scene in the Hobbit where everyone rides on the back of giant eagles (or whatever they were). These kites resemble them (on a smaller scale of course).

ところで、もちろん上のキノコを食べませんでした。知らないキノコを食べるのが非常に危険です。By the way, of course I didn't munch on the toadstool above. Eating or even touching toadstools you don't know is extremely dangerous.

↑This kind of jelly type drink is really refreshing and easy to carry. There are different kinds but I always get the energy one. This one has a grape taste. I don't know if this kind of drink is available overseas (in NZ or Aus), but it is stocked by all the food shops here and is reasonably priced. This one supplies carbohydrates about the size of an onigiri rice ball along with other goodies no doubt. I usually carry a banana too, but I ate that before I left today.
