昇龍の滝と本坂道 Shoryu Waterfall & Honzakamichi

今日は久しぶりにめがねカッパさん（MKさん)と一緒に探検ライドをしました。前の探検ライドと同じようにめちゃ疲れました。楽しかった！
Today, I went for a ride to explore with Megane Kappa (MK). It had been a while since we'd done that. And as in the past, I came back exhausted. Was a fun day!

私：（前の探検ライドを思い出して、防水ソックスをはく。）

MK: Let's go to Shoryu Waterfall
Me: OK! I want to explore a path over that way.
MK: All the snow will be gone by now.
Me: (Remembering our past exploring rides, I put on my waterproof socks)

林道口までずっと川沿いに上る。気持ちがいい！We ride all the way up to the path entrance along side the river. Very pleasant!

近年に誰もこの道を使っていなさそうです。春じゃないと通れにくいです。しかし、今年の大雪の影響で竹が倒れて、大変でした。 It looks like no one has been using this path in recent years. So it's difficult to pass over unless in spring. However, due to the heavy snow this year, the bamboo has fallen across the path and made it extra tough going.

これは何だと思いますか。 What do you suppose this is?

正解！！！鹿の角でした。That's right！！！ It was a deer antler

ほら！MKさん。。。あの白いものは何ですか。雪でしょう。かなりたくさん残ってるじゃないか！ Look at that! What's all that white stuff MK? Snow! There's a heap of it left!

深い！軽いMKさんが雪の上を歩ける。しかし、私が重たい。ひざの上まで雪に埋まる。 It's deep! Light MK can walk on top of the snow, but heavy me sinks down to over my knee caps.

疲れました。めちゃくちゃ疲れました！We've had it. Our energy has been drained.

大変だった！ That was hard going!

やっと雪がないところに出た。At last we come out of the snow.

2014年の秋に来たとき、この感じでした。　It was like this when I came here in the autumn of 2014.

天橋立。今日はかなり霞んでいます。PM2.5のせいです。美味しくない！全然美味しくない！喉がイガイガしています。 Amanohashidate. It's really hazy today. It's due to the PM 2.5. It doesn't taste good. It doesn't taste good at all. My throat feels yucky.

さあ！私の探検したかったトレイルに入ったところです。 Ok then! We've just entered the trail that I wanted to explore.

MKさんがこのトレイルを気に入ったみたい！ MK seems to like this trail!

ずっとだれも使っていないようです。しかし、綺麗にすれば、かなり楽しいトレイルです。 It appears that no one has used this trail in ages. But if it was tidied up, it would be a fun trail.

このトレイルを走りました。残念ですが、もう誰も使っていないと思います。 This is the trail we rode. Unfortunately no one seems to be using it any more.

ということで、MKさんとまた鉄人トレーニング・ライドをしました。（スノーハイクと竹障害コースを含めて）楽しい２６kmライドでした。MKさんと一緒に、こういう冒険ライドをするのが久しぶりでした。面白かった！！！ありがとう！
So, to wrap it up, it turned out to be another iron man training ride. It was an enjoyable 26 km ride, (including the snow hike & bamboo obstacle course). It had been a long long time since MK and I had gone on an adventure like this. Was fun!!! Cheers!
