水曜日に久しぶりにモーニングライドができました。素晴らしい秋天でした。阿蘇海を一周しました。私の家から20kmのライドです。走りながら、日本三景の景色や色んな鳥や色んな魚などを見て、楽しめます。
On Wednesday, I went for a morning ride for the first time in a while. It was a stunning autumn day. I rode around Aso-Kai Lagoon. It's a 20 km ride from my house and back again. While riding I can enjoy the scenes of one of Japan's top 3 scenic spots, different kinds of fish, different species of birds, and so on.

阿蘇海。向こうが天橋立です。 Asokai Lagoon. That's Amanohashidate over there.
素晴らしい天気です。気持ちが最高。。。 It's gorgeous weather. Feels so good.
 イソシギだと思います I think it is a sandpiper |  これはボラでしょう。たまにここでスズキを見るので、最初はスズキだと思いました。しかし、写真を見るとボラっぽいではないかと思いました。長さは70cmぐらいと思います。いつも魚をたくさん見ています。 I think this is mullet. Sometimes I see Japanese sea perch here, so at first I thought it was that. However, after looking at the photo, I thought they looked more like mullet. They were about 70 cm long. I always see lots of fish riding around here. |
この鴨はけっこう小さかったです。初めて見た鴨の種類か若い鴨かわかりません。 These ducks were quite small. Either it's the first time I have seen them or they are juveniles.
9月初めに阿蘇海の水面からたくさんの頭が出ていました。何の生き物かな～と思って、写真を撮りました。10cmぐらいの魚でした。頭が出ているまま、群れで移動していました。不思議な～と思って、どんな魚なのかと調べようとしました。ボラだったかな。この習性は何のためでしょうか。
At the beginning of September I saw lots of heads sticking out of the surface of Aso-Kai Lagoon. I wondered what kind of creature they were, so I took a photo. They were fish of about 10 cm in length. They were moving around in a school with their heads sticking out of the water. I thought that was strange and tried to find out what kind of fish they were. Maybe they were mullet. I wonder what this behavior was all about.
